4000 × 2000 Portal Plasma Cutter System
The CR PLASMA 4000 x 2000mm CNC plasma system runs on steel islands that are bolted to the floor of the location where the machine is installed. The top surface of the islands has an adjustment to allow the laser level to align the long lengths that are used to drive the machine along the long axis. The long axis runs on 25mm HIWIN rails and runs with a precision-ground rack and pinion. The result is a very smooth, efficient drive system to move the bridge up and down the machine.
