The system is equipped with QUICK PIERCE technology allowing the plasma to get down through 40mm mild steel significantly faster making for faster plate production times
The 6000 x 2500mm portal plasma machine is used to allow loading of two full sheets 3000mm long at once. Even at 6000 x 2000mm stroke, the machine still maintains the same high-level accuracy and hole quality of the standard power cut. The system uses the same precision-ground rack and pinion machine drive system we run on all our machines.

All the CR PLASMA portal machines are bolted to the floor with specially designed steel islands. The steel islands allow adjustment of the long axis drive system for smooth level motion. All island surfaces are laser aligned and carefully checked.
